Initially, I began to offer writing services as requests from others.
I realized through these tasks that I had a unique viewpoint to offer others. Having written over 7 novels and 60 short stories throughout the years, I can assess a piece of writing from an individual contributor's perspective.
However, after starting Raconteur in 2018, I began reading and curating hundreds of other pieces of short fiction. Today, Raconteur receives over 500 stories a month, all of which are read and curated by myself, alongside a team of talented readers. This provided another lens to my unique level of expertise.
